Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Persy Shuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Persy Shuy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Dragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Persy Shuy!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragon fails with the takedown.
Shuy throws a sloppy head kick and Dragon moves out of range easily.
Dragon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Shuy preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Shuy tries to kick Dragon off but Dragon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dragon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shuy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shuy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Shuy!
Dragon is breathing heavily.
Shuy cracks Dragon with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dragon is letting Shuy control him for a moment.

Shuy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dragon was covering up waiting for the punch and Shuy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Persy Shuy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Shuy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
