Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Lebedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Gomanyuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lebedev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Champion. Maksim Lebedev has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomanyuk swings for the body but Lebedev moves out of range.

Gomanyuk cracks Lebedev with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gomanyuk tries to control but Lebedev wriggling away.
Gomanyuk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lebedev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gomanyuk wants to get up but he can't break Lebedev's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Alexander Gomanyuk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
