Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Studebaker Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Laak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by silver hawk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Studebaker Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Laak! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk scores with a shot to the body.
Hawk misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Laak tries to land a leg kick but Hawk saw it coming and moves away.
Hawk connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Laak momentarily.
A punch combination from Hawk misses. Hawk swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Studebaker Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hawk fails with a takedown attempt. Hawk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Laak creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Hawk has Laak pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Laak manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Studebaker Hawk. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hawk has a couple of punches blocked by Laak.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Laak. Hawk is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Laak pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Laak is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hawk is defending well for now. Hawk working some nice short punches in the clinch. Laak lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Laak scores with a shoulder strike. Hawk lands a hook that snaps the head of Laak backwards. Laak misses with some punches.

Hawk blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hawk swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Laak lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Hawk is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Laak gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. A nice left hand lands by Laak.
Laak misses with a body punch.
Laak breaks from the clinch.
Hawk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hawk thows a body shot but no joy. Hawk misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Laak counter with a right hand. Hawk has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Laak.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laak scores with a slapping inside leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Laak lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hawk is breathing heavily. Laak takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hawk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Laak counters with a solid body kick. Laak tries a head kick but it misses.
Laak lands a body shot.
An inside leg kick lands from Laak. Hawk is looking to wear down Laak with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Hawk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laak was well out of range. Poor timing from Hawk. Laak lands with a nice body punch. Laak throws a body kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laak throws a head kick but Hawk moves out of range.
Laak throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hawk.
It looks like Studebaker Hawk has been cut. A jab lands there for Laak.
Hawk is rocked! Hawk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Laak swivels and escapes. Laak misses with a kick to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Laak. That's going to slow Hawk down. Hawk staying out of range there. Hawk forces Laak back against the cage and clinches. Laak using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hawk has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Laak tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Laak misses with a short punch on the inside. Hawk throws a punch but it's blocked by Laak. Hawk goes for a takedown in the clinch but Laak prevents it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Laak is stalling here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Laak breaks the clinch.
Hawk blocks the body kick.
Hawk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Laak sprawls well. Laak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hawk gets slowly back to his feet. Hawk misses the body punch and Laak counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hawk's knee momentarily. A combination from Hawk does no damage. Hawk throws a lazy uppercut
and Laak counters with a good low kick that Hawk was not able to check. Laak scores with a kick to the midsection. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Laak pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hawk checks a leg kick. Hawk throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Laak dominated that round. The cut man is working on Studebaker Hawk's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Laak.
Hawk pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hawk throws a combination that misses and Laak makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hawk really felt that one! Laak tries a head kick but it misses.
Hawk is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Laak Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Hawk is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Eric Laak!
