The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
joester misses with a wild combination.
joester ducks down and throws a hook to the body but ST PIERRE moves away.
ST PIERRE shoots in looking for a takedown but joester manages to keep the fight standing, pushing ST PIERRE's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

joester fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ST PIERRE sprawls well initially but joester persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

ST PIERRE had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. joester defends it easily.

joester has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of ST PIERRE is proving hard to escape from.

joester got a little sloppy there for a moment and ST PIERRE has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, joester has managed to get both his arms back between ST PIERRE's legs - danger averted.
joester has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

joester avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

joester has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing ST PIERRE to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! joester is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - ST PIERRE pulls down on the head and he's put joester to sleep! This one is all over!
