Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Paul Bostik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodney Santos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Paul Bostik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rodney Santos! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bostik on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Santos throws a sloppy head kick and Bostik moves out of range easily. Santos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Santos throws a right and a left that Bostik avoids nicely. Good shot there by Santos. Bostik throws a lazy right hand but Santos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bostik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Santos pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bostik fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Santos sprawls well initially but Bostik persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bostik seems to be looking for submissions.
Bostik with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bostik postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Santos to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos throws a head kick but Bostik moves out of range.
Bostik shoots in and drives through. Santos sprawls well. Santos jabs Bostik right on the nose. Bostik blinks but takes it well. Santos lands with a kick to the temple. Bostik shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Santos connects with the punch. Santos throws a head kick but Bostik moves out of range.
Santos buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bostik avoids a punch combination nicely.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Santos. A punch combination from Santos misses. Santos avoids a punch combination nicely.
Santos throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Santos throws a head kick but Bostik moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Santos. Santos throws a head kick that misses and Bostik counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Santos pushes Bostik off looking to stand but Bostik dives back in and keeps control.
Bostik trying to control the pace. Bostik maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Santos could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Bostik has cracked it and Santos is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Bostik!
