Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Pointek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Muyeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pointek comes to the cage accompanied by Sevendust - Enemy. Muyeira has chosen Death or Jail as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muyeira has his takedown stuffed
and Pointek counters with a big uppercut that knocks Muyeira off his feet! Pointek dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Ronaldo Muyeira has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pointek moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Muyeira takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Pointek grinds an elbow into Muyeira's temple.
A lull in the action here.
Pointek landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Pointek connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Muyeira some visible discomfort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muyeira takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Muyeira looks gassed!
Pointek is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Muyeira will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Muyeira is trying to get back to half guard.
Muyeira is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Muyeira is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pointek connects with a decent elbow.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Pointek lands a decent elbow from side control.
Pointek is working to tighten is grip on Muyeira's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Muyeira has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pointek is really squeezing tight and eventually Muyeira passes out! Pointek breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
