Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, jimmy the fist!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
the fist connects with a nice looking jab.

the fist looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
the fist is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Sauers looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Sauers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sauers.
Sauers controls the fist momentarily but the fist frees himself.

Sauers looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

the fist postures up in Sauers's guard and throws a big left but Sauers blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
the fist in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Sauers has his foot on the fist's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. the fist works his way back into a safe position though.
Sauers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

the fist got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sauers has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, the fist has managed to get both his arms back between Sauers's legs - danger averted.

Sauers lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for the fist!
Sauers really is a fat lump.
Sauers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of the fist's face.
the fist is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Sauers lands a heavy elbow.
Sauers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as the fist is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sauers tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sauers is working for a guillotine from mount but the fist frees his head quite easily.

Sauers is going oldschool here, as he tries to force the fist to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so the fist shrugs it off.
Sauers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if the fist can do anything to dispel that myth.

You get the feeling that the fist really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Sauers! the fist is hurt baaadly! Sauers is firing away with more strikes - the fist is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
