Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladislav Aznavorian! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, BJ Penzinski! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aznavorian is looking to clinch but Penzinski is avoiding it.
A head kick misses from Aznavorian. Penzinski slips a jab and a cross from Aznavorian.
Aznavorian throws a jab when Penzinski was well out of range. Aznavorian throws a series of punches but Penzinski avoids them all with ease. Aznavorian moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Aznavorian is looking to land body kicks. Vladislav Aznavorian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Penzinski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Aznavorian.
Aznavorian wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Aznavorian misses with a hook. Penzinski ducked under it nicely. A big head kick from Aznavorian and Penzinski is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Penzinski is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aznavorian wants to stand but Penzinski is controlling his posture from full guard. Penzinski is still in real trouble! Can Aznavorian finish him? Aznavorian cracks Penzinski with a solid left hand. Aznavorian makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Aznavorian stopping the sweep attempt from Penzinski. Penzinski seems to have recovered his senses. Aznavorian has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Penzinski is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penzinski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aznavorian can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Penzinski has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Aznavorian should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Penzinski has tightened it up now! Aznavorian should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
