Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zak Hilger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esmael Alabdullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Zak Hilger has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zak Hilger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Esmael Alabdullah! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alabdullah moves into the clinch. Hilger gets underhooks to prevent Alabdullah's takedown attempt.

Hilger is looking to control Alabdullah's arms but Alabdullah gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hilger has his back to the cage. Hilger misses with a hook from the clinch. Hilger stalling in the clinch but Alabdullah improves position. Alabdullah's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hilger looking to slow down the pace here. Hilger avoiding damage as Alabdullah throws knees to the body.
Hilger lands a left hand that snaps the head of Alabdullah backwards. Alabdullah breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hilger misses with a two punch combination.
Hilger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alabdullah swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hilger lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Alabdullah backs up against the cage.
A combination from Hilger does no damage. Hilger gets a takedown into half guard. Hilger controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alabdullah is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Alabdullah slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Alabdullah looking to control.
Alabdullah keeping moving, preventing Hilger from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hilger looking to sit in guard and control but Alabdullah gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Alabdullah throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Alabdullah trying to control the position from guard on top but Hilger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alabdullah wants to stand but Hilger has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hilger manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hilger trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hilger is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Alabdullah is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Alabdullah really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hilger avoids the attempt from Alabdullah to control. Alabdullah keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Hilger wants to control the pace but Alabdullah is squirming around nicely. Alabdullah looks gassed! Alabdullah is trying desperately to improve position. Hilger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alabdullah on the ground. Hilger looking to control but Alabdullah is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hilger controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zak Hilger dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hilger lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hilger lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Zak Hilger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hilger closes the distance looking to clinch and Alabdullah holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Alabdullah. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hilger. Alabdullah is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hilger pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hilger tries to stall but Alabdullah uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hilger pushes Alabdullah back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hilger lands a nice knee to the body. Hilger lands a hook that snaps the head of Alabdullah backwards. Alabdullah blocks an elbow strike. Hilger working some nice short punches in the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alabdullah stalling in the clinch but Hilger improves position. Hilger connects with a big uppercut there that sends Alabdullah tumbling to the ground! Hilger follows him down into his guard.
Alabdullah is rocked! Alabdullah is breathing heavily. Hilger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Alabdullah is still in real trouble! Can Hilger finish him? Alabdullah seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hilger trying to control the position from guard on top but Alabdullah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hilger stays in close to Alabdullah's body and controls the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zak Hilger has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hilger scores with a jab to the head.

Hilger has closed the distance and engaged Alabdullah in a clinch.
Hilger lands a nice uppercut. Hilger scores with a shoulder strike. A short right from Hilger.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hilger lands a body shot. Hilger lands a right hand. Hilger lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hilger lands a shoulder strike. Hilger is trying to stall.
Hilger scores with an uppercut up the middle. Hilger lands a nice uppercut. Hilger lands an uppercut. Hilger gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Hilger lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Hilger lands with a right to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hilger. Hilger unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Alabdullah! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Hilger is unloading with more strikes now! Alabdullah drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zak Hilger!
