Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Figgjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Melfred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figgjo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Edward Grieg. Drake Melfred has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Drake Melfred!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melfred shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Figgjo counters with a stiff right hand.
Figgjo clinches up against the cage.
Melfred fails to pull the fight into his guard.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Figgjo just misses with a elbow thrown towards Melfred's brow.
Melfred avoids a wild elbow strike from Figgjo.
Figgjo throws an elbow but it misses.

Figgjo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Melfred's face.
It looks like Drake Melfred has been cut.
Melfred is trying to break the clinch but Figgjo is controlling him.

Melfred really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Figgjo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Figgjo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Figgjo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Melfred escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Figgjo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Figgjo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Melfred manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Figgjo has Melfred in his guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Melfred is trying to drag Figgjo to the mat but Figgjo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Figgjo lands an elbow that stopped Melfred in his tracks for a moment.
Melfred changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Figgjo fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Melfred ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Melfred no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Figgjo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Figgjo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Melfred screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Figgjo! Nice submission victory there!
