The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Stanislov.
Purjo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Purjo.
Stanislov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Purjo staying out of range there.
Purjo throws a right hand that misses
and Stanislov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stanislov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stanislov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stanislov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Purjo.
Purjo misses with a body punch
and Stanislov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Stanislov looks to score with a jab to the body but Purjo is just out of range.
Purjo looks to clinch
and Stanislov counters with a one-two to the body.
Purjo is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Purjo slips a straight right by Stanislov.
Purjo is still on wobbly legs! Can Stanislov finish him?
Purjo drops his hands momentarily. Stanislov doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Purjo staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Purjo doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vladdy Stanislov!
