Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Taylor Tibbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hector Ramzees!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramzees throws a head kick but Tibbs moves out of range.
Ramzees throws a sloppy head kick and Tibbs moves out of range easily.
Tibbs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tibbs blocks a head kick by Ramzees.
Tibbs shoots in looking for a takedown. Ramzees tries to sprawl out of it but Tibbs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ramzees manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ramzees sizes up Tibbs with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Taylor Tibbs has been cut.
Ramzees looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Ramzees backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Tibbs's temple! It sends Tibbs violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Ramzees celebrates and the doctors try to help Tibbs!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Hector Ramzees!
