The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender wants to slow Sung il down by chopping away at his legs.
Sung il throws a leg kick
and Bender counters with a nice kick to the body.
Bender misses with a looping right.
Bender throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bender throws the kick towards the body but Sung il avoids it.
Bender scores with a body shot.
Bender cracks the inside of Sung il's front leg.
Bender scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bender ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sung il moves away.
Bender misses with a looping right.
Bender thumps Sung il with a low kick.
Sung il throws the kick towards the body but Bender avoids it.
Bender throws a leg kick
and Sung il counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bender won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bender is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Sung il scores with punches from side control.
Sung il has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bender is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sung il yanks on the arm and Bender is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sung il.
