Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sarah Northcote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scabby Bat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sarah Northcote! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Scabby Bat! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Northcote scores with a takedown into Bat's guard. Bat wants to sweep but no luck. Northcote drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bat dives on top into guard. Bat is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bat throws a big right hand that misses. Bat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Northcote has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bat has managed to get both his arms back between Northcote's legs - danger averted. Northcote has his foot on Bat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bat works his way back into a safe position though. Bat is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Northcote escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bat with a nice head shot there. Northcote working for a triangle but Bat defends it easily.
Northcote not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bat trying to control but Northcote is working from the bottom. Bat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Northcote. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bat is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bat scoring with punches to the head and body. Northcote has his foot on Bat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bat works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Northcote has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bat doesn't defend quickly enough and Northcote has managed to lock this one up! Can Bat escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Northcote on a fantastic submission victory.
