The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkovic misses with a series of wild punches.
Perkovic throws a right and a left that both miss.
Perkovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cavelli blocks a head kick by Perkovic.
Perkovic misses with the combination.

Cavelli has closed the distance and engaged Perkovic in a clinch.

A lazy left from Cavelli finds it's target.
Perkovic throws a nice looking combination but Cavelli bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cavelli misses with a straight left.
Perkovic throws a hook to the side of Cavelli's head but Cavelli sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Perkovic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perkovic lands a big head kick that sends Cavelli tumbling to the mat! Perkovic takes a step backwards and waves Cavelli back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Cavelli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Cavelli counters with a nice double leg into side control. Perkovic won't be happy with that.

Cavelli has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Perkovic is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cavelli yanks on the arm and Perkovic is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cavelli.
