Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jude Cotterell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Brockington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jude Cotterell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Brockington!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Cotterell misses the target.
Cotterell throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Brockington to counter with a crisp jab.
Brockington jabs Cotterell right on the nose. Cotterell blinks but takes it well.


It looks like Jude Cotterell has been cut.
Brockington connects with a body shot that sends Cotterell's belly button to the back.
A punch combination from Brockington misses.
Cotterell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brockington throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cotterell.
No joy there for Cotterell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jab, jab by Brockington - just one landing.
Brockington lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Brockington drops back looking for a leg! Cotterell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cotterell manages to kick Brockington off! Brockington jumps back into Cotterell's guard.

Cotterell is looking to stand up but Brockington isn't so interested in that idea.

Brockington stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cotterell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brockington pushes down on Cotterell's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cotterell pushes Brockington off looking to stand but Brockington dives back in and keeps control.

Brockington seems to be working for a kimura but Cotterell defends the submission attempt.
Cotterell wants to get back to his feet.
Brockington frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Brockington has control of Cotterell's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cotterell regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brockington dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cotterell throws a right hand that Brockington ducks under and follows up with a left that Brockington also avoids with ease.
Cotterell misses with a series of wild punches.
Brockington fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brockington throws a shot to the body.
Brockington takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Brockington slips under a jab from Cotterell.
Brockington lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brockington.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jude Cotterell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cotterell swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Brockington connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cotterell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mark Brockington seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Brockington will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jude Cotterell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brockington lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


Jude Cotterell's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Brockington drops Cotterell with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Cotterell! Brockington dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
