Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rampage jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jackson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. all the lights kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! James Thomas has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, rampage jackson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Thomas. Nice takedown defense from jackson. No joy for Thomas on that attempt. jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Thomas sprawls well. He's pushed jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. jackson tries to clinch but Thomas moves out of range. Thomas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sloppy strikes from Thomas. Those never looked like landing. jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. jackson keeps the fight on the outside. jackson closes the distance looking to clinch and Thomas counters into the clinch. Nicely done. jackson stalling in the clinch but Thomas improves position. Thomas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Thomas shoots and misses and jackson counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thomas is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. jackson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Thomas will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Thomas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thomas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Thomas is trying to escape and get back to his feet. jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. jackson grinds an elbow into Thomas's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. jackson looks gassed! jackson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Thomas is trying to improve his position. Thomas sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas regains full guard. Nicely done. Thomas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Thomas is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! jackson is forced to tap! Great finish!
