Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toni Biuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Pudzian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biuk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pdzJCyNY-0. Pudzian has chosen Toony - Los (Feat. Pih & Fabuła) as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzian lands a nice shot to the body.
Pudzian fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pudzian is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pudzian drives through and clinches with Biuk against the cage.
Pudzian is trying to drag Biuk to the mat but Biuk just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Biuk drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pudzian gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Biuk gets control of Pudzian's arms and successfully pulls guard. Biuk will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Biuk has his foot on Pudzian's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pudzian works his way back into a safe position though.

Biuk connects with a leg kick. Pudzian looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Biuk shoots in and bounces Pudzian off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Horrible takedown by Biuk or perhaps it was just good defense by Pudzian which made him look bad.

Pudzian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Biuk's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Biuk counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pudzian's guard now.
Biuk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Biuk wants to control from the top but Pudzian keeps moving.
Pudzian is looking for a triangle here but Biuk uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Biuk is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pudzian will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Pudzian bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Biuk's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Biuk working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pudzian doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pudzian manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Toni Biuk.
Well Biuk has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
