Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Schultz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Hawk! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schultz throws a series of punches but Hawk avoids them all with ease. Schultz moves out of range of the leg kick from Hawk. Hawk throws a right hand that Schultz ducks under and follows up with a left that Schultz also avoids with ease. Schultz misses with a double jab
and Hawk counters with a one-two to the body. Schultz blocks a head kick by Hawk.
Hawk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Schultz takes a shot to the head. Hawk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Schultz looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hawk digs a right hand underneath Schultz's ribcage. Schultz let out a lung full of air as it connected. Hawk lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Schultz or not. Hawk working hard to break the clinch. Schultz is trying to break the clinch but Hawk has him pressed against the cage. Hawk wants to get back to striking at distance but Schultz won't allow it.

Schultz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Schultz. Hawk shrugs it off though. Hawk fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Schultz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hawk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hawk tries to break free but Schultz pushes him back against the cage. Hawk is trying to break the clinch but Schultz is controlling him. Nice body punch from Hawk. Hawk gets through Schultz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Hawk wants to break the clinch but can't.

Hawk scores with a jab to the body. Schultz is breathing heavily. Schultz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

And that's the end of the fight! Mike Hawk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hawk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
