Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rene Bombom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bombom might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow. The key to victory for Rene Bombom has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rashad Evans!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombom misses with a head kick.
Evans throws a series of punches but Bombom avoids them all with ease.
Bombom cracks the inside of Evans's front leg.
Evans is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bombom.
Evans misses with a right hand
and Bombom counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bombom.
Evans goes for a takedown attempt but Bombom pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Evans tries for a takedown but Bombom sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Bombom.
Evans misses with a lunging right hand
and Bombom counters with a nice kick to the body.
Evans looks gassed!
Bombom smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bombom lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bombom. That's going to slow Evans down.
Bombom lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Rashad Evans has been cut.
Bombom scores with a push kick.

Evans gets tackled into the cage by Bombom. Bombom maintains the clinch.
Bombom landing knees to the head.
Bombom lands a knee to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bombom drops Evans with a big knee straight up the middle! Evans is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Evans is rocked!
Bombom lands a big uppercut and Evans crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Evans looks OK. Bombom waves Evans back to his feet!
Evans is still on wobbly legs! Can Bombom finish him?
Evans on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bombom cracks Evans with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Evans looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bombom finish him?
Bombom lands with a right and another and another! Evans is in big trouble! Bombom lands again and this time it's lights out for Evans! A quality knockout there for Bombom.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rene Bombom!
