Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotiropoulos dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Sotiropoulos looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Sotiropoulos fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sotiropoulos throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Smith takes the fight into the clinch.
Smith is trying to break the clinch but Sotiropoulos is controlling him.

Sotiropoulos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sotiropoulos loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
Smith tries to clinch up but Sotiropoulos circles away and keeps his distance.

Smith throws a wild body kick that Sotiropoulos sees coming a mile off.
Sotiropoulos moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Sotiropoulos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Sotiropoulos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Sotiropoulos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Smith closes the distance and pushes Sotiropoulos back into the cage.

Smith is trying to break the clinch but Sotiropoulos is controlling him.
Smith lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Smith throws a nice looking combination but Sotiropoulos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sotiropoulos shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Smith connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Sotiropoulos! He's out on his feet! Smith rushes in and drops Sotiropoulos with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
