Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave McNasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNasty keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

McNasty shoots in and drives through. Lesnar sprawls well.
Lesnar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lesnar tries a head kick but it misses.

Lesnar drives through with a takedown into guard.
McNasty is looking to stand up but Lesnar isn't so interested in that idea.

Lesnar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McNasty swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Lesnar closes the distance and clinches.
McNasty tries to break the clinch but Lesnar is controlling the position.

Lesnar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McNasty, pushing him back against the cage.

McNasty breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lesnar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lesnar goes for a takedown attempt but McNasty pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McNasty gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Lesnar regains guard.
Lesnar wants to stand up but McNasty is controlling him.
Lesnar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Lesnar had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McNasty is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lesnar Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McNasty's back instead.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McNasty grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Lesnar is not going to allow McNasty to sit and survive in this position.

McNasty breaks Lesnar's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McNasty slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Lesnar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McNasty manages to get himself to full guard.

Lesnar has gone for a leg lock! McNasty slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lesnar's guard.
McNasty trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Lesnar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McNasty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dave McNasty will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lesnar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

McNasty looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lesnar is fending him off so far but McNasty persists. Nope, Lesnar circles away and we're back to standing.

Lesnar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McNasty.

Lesnar throws a wild body kick that McNasty sees coming a mile off.
Lesnar walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McNasty checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Lesnar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McNasty tries to avoid it but Lesnar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McNasty to the ground. McNasty escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nick Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave McNasty.

McNasty works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McNasty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lesnar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McNasty stands and steps away. Lesnar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nick Lesnar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Lesnar.
I think McNasty has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
