Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milo Encallado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabiano DeSilva!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Encallado closes this distance looking for a takedown but DeSilva circles away.

Encallado drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DeSilva wants to stand and escape but Encallado is having none of it.
DeSilva is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Encallado slips nicely into half guard.
DeSilva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Encallado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
DeSilva wants to get back to his feet.

DeSilva kicks off Encallado and gets to his feet.
DeSilva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Encallado takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Milo Encallado has been cut.
DeSilva connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Encallado looks for a takedown but DeSilva sprawls well.
DeSilva scores with a hook.


Encallado is rocked!
Encallado misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milo Encallado. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Encallado shoots in looking for a takedown. DeSilva tries to sprawl out of it but Encallado keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DeSilva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Encallado shoots in but DeSilva avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DeSilva lands a lovely overhand right.
DeSilva misses with a double jab.
Encallado seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. DeSilva shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Encallado is backing up but DeSilva catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Encallado covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! DeSilva Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fabiano DeSilva!
