Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cristian Miros!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fabio Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miros gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Da Silva gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Miros tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Da Silva manages to move to mount!
Miros trying desperately to get to his feet.

Da Silva jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Miros manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Miros tries to escape but Da Silva is in control.
Da Silva moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Da Silva has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Miros!

Miros knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Da Silva on the ground.
Da Silva lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Miros hang on?

Miros wants to try and get back to his feet.

Da Silva stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Da Silva tries to clinch up but Miros circles away and keeps his distance.
Cristian Miros is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Da Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Miros!
Da Silva cracks Miros with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Da Silva wants to finish this one by submission but Miros is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Da Silva.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Da Silva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Da Silva stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Da Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miros quickly recovers to half guard.
Miros is breathing heavily.
Da Silva not doing much here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Fabio Da Silva was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Da Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.

Da Silva gets the takedown into side control.
Miros is working to avoid the ground and pound but Da Silva connects with a decent elbow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Da Silva content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Miros is trying to buck Da Silva off.
Da Silva remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Let's hope that Da Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miros is looking to get back to his feet here but Da Silva is keeping cool and he's managed to take Miros's back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Miros tries to sprawl but Da Silva drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Miros wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Da Silva manages to pass to side control.

Da Silva postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Miros to stand up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Da Silva ducks under a wild hook from Miros.
Cristian Miros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miros slips a jab from Da Silva.
Da Silva avoids the head kick by Miros.
Miros throws a sloppy head kick and Da Silva moves out of range easily.

Da Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Miros!

Da Silva throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Miros has his hands clasped together but Da Silva breaks the hold and Miros is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Da Silva!
