Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes into the arena with Envy on the Coast - Southern Comfort blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dalern Hardt was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Hardt persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing.
Hardt closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Davis to the mat! Davis manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Davis is trying to control the position but Hardt postures up.
Davis can't keep his opponent in guard - Hardt advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hardt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davis is just riding it out for now. Hardt eventually gives up the hold.
