Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bj St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

St Pierre drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and St Pierre jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as St Pierre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Evans wants to stand and escape but St Pierre is having none of it.

St Pierre stands and throws Evans's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Evans is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but St Pierre has just dragged him back down to the mat.

St Pierre fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

St Pierre has hold of Evans's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Evans seems comfortable defending it but St Pierre has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Evans is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Evans is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but St Pierre couldn't care less - he's delighted!
