Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 44 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Saburo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kien Ngo!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Saburo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Ngo misses with a wild combination.

Ngo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Ngo working the ground and pound effectively.
Saburo is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ngo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Ngo controlling from mount.
Ngo scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Saburo?
Ngo landing strikes from the mount and Saburo is in trouble!
Ngo lands a nice shot to the head.
The referee warns Saburo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ngo scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ngo working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Ngo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ngo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kien Ngo wasn't active enough on the ground.

Ngo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ngo has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Ngo looking to control and managing it successfully.

Kien Ngo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Ngo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Ngo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Ngo passes to full mount!
Ngo looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Saburo has left one of his arms exposed and Ngo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Saburo screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
