Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Carsena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carsena throws a right and a left that Kerr avoids nicely. Kerr should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Carsena fails to land with a series of punches.
Carsena tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Eric Carsena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carsena throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kerr. Carsena closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Tom Kerr has been cut. Carsena closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Carsena trying to control from Kerr's half guard. Kerr has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Carsena looking to sit in guard and control but Kerr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kerr wants to control from the top but Carsena keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr postures up.
Carsena tries to land a sweep but no joy. Carsena wriggles free and stands up. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kerr has eaten all the pies! Carsena lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kerr circles away quickly and effectively. Kerr misses with a takedown attempt and Carsena counters with a two punch combo. Kerr has his takedown stuffed and Carsena counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That has opened up Tom Kerr's cut even more. Carsena fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kerr thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr swinging wildly here.
Carsena misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carsena throws a combination that misses and Kerr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Carsena! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kerr can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carsena is looking to escape. Kerr looking to finish Carsena with some ground and pound. This is bad for Carsena! Carsena is working to get back to half guard.
Kerr avoids the attempt from Carsena to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerr misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kerr cracks Carsena with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kerr tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kerr putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Carsena is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Carsena on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carsena tries to get out of the position. Kerr looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerr looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Carsena can't escape the position.
Kerr lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kerr scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kerr has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Carsena's face.
Kerr with a couple of short strikes. Kerr lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Kerr dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tom Kerr's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kerr digs a good hook to Carsena's body.
Carsena misses with a double jab.
Eric Carsena is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carsena looks to land a combination but Kerr avoids it well. Kerr jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Eric Carsena has been cut. Kerr swings away with a body shot that misses
and Carsena counters with a single leg into guard. Kerr didn't expect that. Carsena knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kerr on the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kerr has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Carsena has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carsena preventing the sweep. Kerr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kerr connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kerr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kerr scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kerr with a couple of short strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kerr raining down hammerfists from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kerr working the ground and pound effectively.
Carsena keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kerr is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Carsena can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Carsena taking shots to the head. Kerr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kerr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Carsena looks a forlorn figure.
Kerr lands a big shot there that rocks Carsena but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerr postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Carsena in real trouble here! The ref calls for Carsena to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
