Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Simms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rainier Rilke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mathew Simms! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rainier Rilke! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simms tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rilke swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rilke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Simms cracks Rilke with an uppercut from hell and Rilke crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Simms's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Rilke is rocked! Simms makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rilke is still in real trouble! Can Simms finish him? Simms tries to free his leg and advance position but Rilke is retaining full guard. Simms tries to stand but Rilke is controlling from the bottom. Simms wants to pass the guard but Rilke is keeping the position. Simms would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Simms wants to control from the top but Rilke keeps moving. Rilke seems to have recovered his senses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Simms wants to pass the guard but Rilke is keeping the position. Simms is in close to Rilke's body, working some short punches and elbows. Rilke throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Rilke is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Simms is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rilke is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rilke is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Rilke throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Rilke looks gassed! Rilke prevents Simms from standing back up.
Rilke wants to stand but Simms has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Rilke throws a strike but Simms avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Rilke wants to get up but he can't break Simms's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rilke misses with a body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Simms closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rilke just misses with a elbow thrown towards Simms's brow. Simms lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Rilke is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Simms scores with a couple of nice shots. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Rilke is looking for a sweep. Simms is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Simms is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Rilke tries to roll over but Simms keeps him under control. Rilke kicks Simms off and gets back to his feet. Rilke looks to throw the jab but Simms is out of range. Simms fails with an attempt to clinch.
Simms tries to clinch but Rilke is having none of it. Rilke cracks Simms with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Simms is rocked! Rainier Rilke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Rilke tries a head kick but it misses.
Oh Simms is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Simms crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rilke - the referee stops the clock and Simms gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rilke. Simms manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Simms seems to have got his legs back now. Rilke throws a head kick but Simms moves out of range.
Rilke keeps the fight on the outside. Rilke circles away from the clinch attempt.
Simms bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Simms wants to control but Rilke is keeping him busy. Simms scoring with punches and elbows. Simms scores with a couple of short elbows. Simms has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Simms looks up at the clock and then as Rilke takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Simms smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rilke takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Rilke tries to get back to half guard but can't. Simms decides to take the fight back to the feet. Simms clinches with his opponent.
Rilke misses with a knee to the head. Simms misses with an elbow over the top. Simms keeps control of Rilke as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Simms has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rilke is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Simms leaning against his opponent.
Simms breaks the clinch.
Simms tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rilke swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rilke will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Simms throws a nice outside leg kick. Simms throws a right and a left that both miss. Simms is looking to clinch. Simms tries to clinch but Rilke is having none of it. Rilke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Simms looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rilke misses with a hook
and Simms counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rilke! Simms working the ground and pound effectively.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rilke really wants to buck Simms off and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rilke really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Rilke is trying to stand. Rilke in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Rilke regains half guard. Rilke makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Rilke closes the distance and lands a one-two. Rilke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Simms shoots in and bounces Rilke off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rilke is working an open guard so Simms takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rainier Rilke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A head kick by Rilke misses and Simms counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Simms forces Rilke back against the cage and clinches. Rilke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A head kick lands from Rilke that sends Simms to the canvas. Simms tries to scramble back to his feet but Rilke brings him back down into side control.
It looks like Mathew Simms has been cut. Rilke in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mathew Simms dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mathew Simms's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Simms avoids the head kick by Rilke.
Rilke falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rilke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A jab from Rilke misses. Rilke throws a right and a left that Simms avoids nicely. Rilke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rilke tries to bum rush Simms with a series of wild strikes but Simms uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rilke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick misses from Rilke. Simms bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rilke is trying to get back to half guard. Simms grinds an elbow into Rilke's temple. Rilke tries to bench press Simms off him but Simms keeps the position. Rilke is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Simms is controlling him well. Simms lands some shots froms side control. Rilke is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Simms has just dragged him back down to the mat. Simms landing a few strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Simms decides to stand back up. Simms steps back and let's Rilke get back to his feet. Rilke misses with a series of wild punches.
Mathew Simms is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Simms tries to bum rush Rilke with a series of wild strikes but Rilke uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A big head kick from Rilke and Simms is sent sprawling to the canvas! Rilke must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rilke gets to his feet - Simms follows without any prompting. Rilke drops Simms with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Simms! Rilke dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
