Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evan Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tommy gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evan Tanner looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
gun shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tanner pinned against the cage. Tanner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
gun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tanner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tanner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tanner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
gun throws a right and a left that both miss.
gun throws a head kick that half lands.
gun fails to land with a series of punches.
gun lands a body shot.
Tanner lands the left hand.
Tanner tries to clinch up
and gun counters with a good, hard body kick but Tanner shrugs it off.
Tanner is breathing heavily.
Tanner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tanner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but gun paws at him with a jab and circles away.
gun fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tanner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
gun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
gun closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tanner to the mat! Tanner manages to get full guard.
gun sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Tanner is looking to stand up but gun isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tanner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
gun tries to free his leg and advance position but Tanner is retaining full guard.
gun stays in close to Tanner's body and controls the position.
Tanner not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
gun seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tanner trying to keep a closed guard but gun is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tanner wants to stand up but gun is controlling him.
Tanner will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
gun lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by gun.
Tanner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but gun paws at him with a jab and circles away.
gun works the jab nicely.
gun fails to land with a series of punches.
Tanner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
gun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Tanner can't get the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
gun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tanner tries to avoid it but gun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tanner to the ground. Tanner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
gun fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tanner cracks gun with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Tanner lands a lovely overhand right.
gun gets in close and instigates a clinch.
gun prevents Tanner from breaking the clinch.
gun slows down the pace here.
gun changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tanner fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Evan Tanner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of tommy gun.
Tanner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says gun as he avoids it easily.
gun has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from gun there as he acknowledges the shot.
gun closes the distance and lands a one-two.
gun circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tanner misses with a left hand
and gun counters by clinching up.
gun manages to break the clinch.
gun looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tanner looking to hit a scissor sweep but gun is one step ahead there.
gun passes Tanner's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
gun wants to stand up but Tanner is controlling the position.
gun takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
gun trying to control from half guard but Tanner is working away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
gun is taking a breather. Tanner says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
gun throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
tommy gun dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tanner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
gun drops Tanner with a naaaaasty hook - Tanner is in real trouble here! gun dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). tommy gun!
