Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Red Forman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibe Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forman's entrance music is Ultimate. A fine choice. Red Forman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong blocks a jab.
Ibe Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kong pivots, looking for a leg kick but Forman is out of range and Kong settles back down.
Kong scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Forman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Forman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kong can pounce on him.
Kong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Forman.

and Kong counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Forman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Forman is keeping the position for now.

Kong is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Forman is just riding it out for now. Kong eventually gives up the hold.

Kong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Forman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Forman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kong distracts Forman with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Kong is working for a kimura but Forman is defending it quite comfortably.
Forman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kong is working away from the top position though.
Forman pushes Kong off looking to stand but Kong dives back in and keeps control.

Forman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Forman.
Kong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kong drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kong jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kong advances to half guard.
Forman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kong is working away from the top position though.

Kong thows a huge punch but Forman dodges it nicely.
Forman tries to roll over but Kong keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kong is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Forman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kong on the ground.

Ibe Kong dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Forman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kong.

and Forman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kong throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Forman counters with a nice body shot.
Forman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kong.
Forman cracks Kong with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Forman's corner calls for a 1-2. Forman obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Forman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Forman cracks a nice hook into Kong's ribs.
Forman scores with the left hand. Kong knows he should have avoided that one.

Kong is rocked!
Kong is breathing heavily.
Forman cracks Kong with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
