Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Morgan. Ramirez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ramirez throws a right and a left that Morgan avoids nicely.
Ramirez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Morgan misses with a jab, cross combination.
A punch combination from Morgan misses.
Morgan staying out of range there.
Morgan thuds his right hand into Ramirez's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Morgan shoots in for a double leg but Ramirez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ramirez avoids a strike by Morgan and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Morgan's guard! Fantastic escape!

Morgan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ramirez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
