Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alarcon Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rado McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ramirez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War is my destiny. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez throws a leg kick
and McDonald connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McDonald keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

and McDonald cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ramirez looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ramirez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Ramirez postures up in McDonald's guard and throws a big left but McDonald blocks it.
McDonald is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ramirez dives into side control.
Ramirez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McDonald is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McDonald being controlled for a moment.
McDonald really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramirez . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ramirez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Ramirez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ramirez is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. McDonald is trying to escape and Ramirez transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and McDonald is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ramirez ! Very nice indeed!
