The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jons takes a swing at Zantael's ribcage but misses.
Jons paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Zantael closes the distance but Jons moves to the side

and Jons counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jons is controlling the pace.
Zantael scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jons manages to mount him!
Jons scoring with strikes but Zantael is staying in there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poor strikes thrown by Jons there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
You get the feeling that Zantael really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Jons controlling the position easily from mount.

Jons has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zantael's face.

Zantael is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jons drops a big elbow. That's hurt Zantael! More shots from Jons and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
