The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reddinger lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends St Claire sprawling to the canvas. Reddinger follows him down, looking for the kill. Can St Claire hang on?
St Claire is rocked!
It looks like Casey St Claire has been cut.

St Claire avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reddinger.

Reddinger seems to be looking for submissions.
St Claire seems to have recovered his senses.
Reddinger wants to work for an arm triangle but St Claire is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Reddinger postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! St Claire is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reddinger, into his guard.

Reddinger is striking from the bottom but St Claire uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Reddinger is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

St Claire pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tommy Reddinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reddinger tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. St Claire manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Reddinger throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and St Claire counters with a one-two to the body.
Reddinger rushes St Claire with punches - St Claire moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, St Claire goes down! Reddinger follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
