3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wladimir Kyshenko! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab by Kyshenko.
It looks like Felix Voskresensky has been cut. Kyshenko throws the left hand but Voskresensky avoids the punch easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kyshenko, as that shot connected.
Voskresensky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Voskresensky trying to control the action but Kyshenko is working from the bottom. Voskresensky takes a little break here. Kyshenko wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Kyshenko is not content to let Voskresensky control the position. You can see the frustration on Kyshenko's face as Voskresensky controls the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Voskresensky is looking to take a break and control but Kyshenko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Felix Voskresensky has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Voskresensky tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyshenko throws the left hand but Voskresensky avoids the punch easily. Kyshenko closes the distance and pushes Voskresensky back into the cage. Kyshenko tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Voskresensky on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Kyshenko clobbers Voskresensky with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kyshenko with a poor takedown so Voskresensky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Voskresensky is looking to work some ground and pound but Kyshenko has wrist control. Voskresensky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kyshenko trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyshenko wants to sweep here but Voskresensky controlling him for the moment. Voskresensky wants to control from the top but Kyshenko keeps moving. Voskresensky chips away with some ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kyshenko controls Voskresensky momentarily but Voskresensky frees himself. That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kyshenko keeping moving, preventing Voskresensky from controlling successfully. Kyshenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kyshenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Voskresensky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kyshenko keeping moving, preventing Voskresensky from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Voskresensky drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Voskresensky has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kyshenko finds it's way round the side to connect with Voskresensky's head. Sloppy strikes from Voskresensky. Those never looked like landing. Wladimir Kyshenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kyshenko throws the left hand but Voskresensky avoids the punch easily. A punch combination from Kyshenko misses. Kyshenko thuds a left hand into Voskresensky's body. Voskresensky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kyshenko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kyshenko wants to control but Voskresensky postures up. Voskresensky cracks Kyshenko with a big right hand but Kyshenko just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Voskresensky is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kyshenko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Voskresensky in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kyshenko is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
