Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Ovechkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovechkin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Lewis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lewis.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ovechkin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lewis gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ovechkin.
Ovechkin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lewis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ovechkin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lewis but Lewis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ovechkin.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Ovechkin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ovechkin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lewis as he avoids it easily.
Ovechkin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lewis!

Lewis is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Lewis is working to get back to half guard.
Ovechkin lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lewis hang on?
Ovechkin landing punches.
Lewis regains half guard.
Ovechkin is breathing heavily.
Lewis pushes Ovechkin off looking to stand but Ovechkin dives back in and keeps control.
Lewis kicks off Ovechkin and gets to his feet.
Lewis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ovechkin.
Ovechkin shoots in and drives through. Lewis sprawls well.
Horrible takedown by Ovechkin or perhaps it was just good defense by Lewis which made him look bad.
Ovechkin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ovechkin looks to score with a jab to the body but Lewis is just out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lewis throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lewis darts in and clinches Ovechkin up against the cage.
Ovechkin avoids the elbow strike from Lewis, against the cage.
Ovechkin tries to score a body lock takedown but Lewis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Ovechkin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lewis pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Lewis as Ovechkin shoots in.
Ovechkin throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.
Ovechkin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ovechkin showed some decent athleticism there.
Lewis kicks Ovechkin off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Ovechkin gets the takedown into side control.
Lewis taking a bit of punishment here - Ovechkin scoring with strikes.
Ovechkin throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Lewis explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Lewis stuffs the takedown.

Lewis tries to clinch up.
Lewis bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Ovechkin! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Ovechkin is rocked!
It looks like Ivan Ovechkin has been cut.
Lewis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ovechkin, up you get!
Oh Ovechkin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lewis connects with a stiff jab that staggers Ovechkin - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jerry Lewis!
