Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between adf b (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Nweave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
b tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nweave swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Nweave clinches with his opponent.
b stalling the fight.
b drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nweave manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Nweave receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
b is trying to maintain a safe position but Nweave gets an underhook and turns b into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nweave digs a right hand underneath b's ribcage. b let out a lung full of air as it connected.

b breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
b misses with a takedown attempt - Nweave sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Nweave decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Nweave shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
b wants to control but Nweave is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Nweave tries to stand but can't do so whilst b controls his leg.
Nweave is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and b reverses the position - he's now on top in Nweave's guard.

Nweave drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but b manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nweave has b in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
b tries to free his leg and advance position but Nweave is retaining full guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nweave cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Nweave lands a heavy elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nweave avoids the attempt from b to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

b takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

b is just holding on here. Nweave manages to take his back.

b had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nweave is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. b Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nweave's back instead.
