Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Jedard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kuorma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jedard's entrance music is Creeping Death by Metallica. A fine choice. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Jedard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Max Kuorma! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuorma throws a shot from downtown. Jedard moves away and avoids it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Jedard drops Kuorma with a left right combo! Jedard follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Max Kuorma has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jedard trying to control the position but Kuorma is working away. Jedard wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kuorma, who protects the arm well. Jedard looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jedard working the ground and pound. Kuorma tries to improve position but can't. Kuorma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jedard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kuorma stops Jedard from passing to mount. Jedard wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kuorma, who protects the arm well. Kuorma is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jedard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jedard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jedard wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kuorma, who protects the arm well. Kuorma manages to get back to half guard. Jedard moves into full mount! Kuorma won't be happy about that! Jedard is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kuorma has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jedard with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuorma can't escape the position.
Jedard working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Kuorma slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Jedard is thwarting Kuorma's attempts to control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kuorma can do anything to dispel that myth. Jedard tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kuorma knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kuorma wants to improve his position but Jedard is controlling well.

Kuorma keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Jedard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kuorma keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Max Kuorma. Kuorma connects with a body shot. Kuorma just misses with a punch to the body.
Kuorma with a lazy takedown attempt and Jedard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jedard drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kuorma dives on top into guard. Kuorma trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jedard's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuorma throwing strikes from guard but Jedard blocks nicely. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jedard is on top in guard.
Kuorma seems keen to control Jedard's posture. Kuorma is looking to stand up but Jedard isn't so interested in that idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jedard wants to pass the guard but Kuorma is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Jedard dominated that round. The cut man is working on Max Kuorma's cut. That's time! Jedard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jedard doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kuorma counters with a nice uppercut. Jedard gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kuorma counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jedard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Kuorma counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Jedard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jedard wants to sweep here but Kuorma controlling him for the moment. Kuorma is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jedard has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kuorma is looking to defend but Jedard has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kuorma! Jedard pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kuorma taps out and this one is all over!
