Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Moks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rafal Moks! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moks looks for a takedown but Mendez sprawls well. Mendez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Moks! Moks is working to get back to half guard.
Mendez avoids the attempt from Moks to control. Moks tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mendez in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez dominating with strikes here. Mendez avoids the attempt from Moks to control. Mendez wants to control the pace but Moks is squirming around nicely. Mendez looking to control but Moks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Mendez lands a big shot there that rocks Moks but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mendez with good strikes from the mount here! Moks is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Moks is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Mendez is staying active.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mendez with shots to the head and body - Moks looks very uncomfortable down there. Moks tries to reverse the position but Mendez maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Mendez. Moks wants to control but Mendez is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moks tries to reverse the position but Mendez maintains control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Mendez dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Moks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mendez finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Moks misses with a takedown and Mendez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Moks misses with a takedown attempt and Mendez counters with a takedown into side control. Chuck Mendez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafal Moks. Mendez tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Moks is trying to control Mendez's posture but Mendez avoids it. Mendez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez wants to control but Moks is keeping him busy. Chuck Mendez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Moks is looking to reverse the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moks is trying to control Mendez's posture but Mendez avoids it. Mendez is trying to ground and pound but Moks uses the momentary lack of control by Mendez to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mendez prevents Moks from standing back up.
Mendez is thwarting Moks's attempts to control the position. Moks is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mendez pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moks is looking to control Mendez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Moks avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moks looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mendez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moks on the ground. Mendez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Mendez is just content to waste time from the top position. Moks takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Moks is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Mendez frees his head nicely. Oh but Moks has switched to an armbar! Mendez is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
