Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michal Malinowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Fitunin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malinowsky comes to the cage accompanied by Kashmir. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malinowsky tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fitunin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Malinowsky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Malinowsky wants it to stay on the feet.
Fitunin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malinowsky.
Fitunin throws a sloppy head kick and Malinowsky moves out of range easily.

Malinowsky lands a really nice looking cross but Fitunin seems unphased.
Fitunin scores with a one two! Malinowsky had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Malinowsky here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
