Morris has chosen The Kids Aren't Alright - The Offspring as his entrance music. Pete Wallace has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Morris! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace misses with a hook. Morris ducked under it nicely. Morris shoots in and bounces Wallace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Morris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Morris is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wallace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wallace has momentary wrist control but Morris slips an elbow through the middle. Morris throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wallace pushes Morris off and scrambles back to his feet.
Morris throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fight stays on the outside here - Wallace looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Morris scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round. Morris avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wallace tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wallace fails with the takedown and Morris counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wallace's guard now. Wallace keeping full guard, as Morris tries to pass. Morris tries to stand but Wallace is controlling from the bottom. Morris trying to control but Wallace is working from the bottom. Morris content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Morris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Morris wants to control from the top but Wallace keeps moving. Morris throws a strike but Wallace rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace is sitting in close to Morris's body. Morris has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wallace is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wallace is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Morris.
