Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Madsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guntur Llaripukinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Llaripukinen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Elvis Presley - True Love Travels On A Gravel Road. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Guntur Llaripukinen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madsen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Guntur Llaripukinen has been cut.
Llaripukinen throws a hook to the side of Madsen's head but Madsen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Madsen lands a nice shot to the body.
A big right from Madsen misses.
Madsen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A telegraphed right hand from Madsen misses the target.

and Llaripukinen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Madsen counters with a shoot takedown. Llaripukinen fights it but they end up in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Madsen tries to clinch up but Llaripukinen circles away and keeps his distance.

Gunnar Madsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Madsen swings widly with a right hand
and Llaripukinen counters with a nice uppercut.
Llaripukinen throws a lazy uppercut
and Madsen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Madsen misses with a double jab
and Llaripukinen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Llaripukinen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Llaripukinen takes a swing at Madsen's ribcage but misses.
Jab, jab by Madsen - just one landing.
Madsen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Madsen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Llaripukinen tries to move into range but Madsen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Madsen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Llaripukinen at a distance.
The crowd cheers as Madsen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Llaripukinen doesn't seem phased though.

That has opened up Guntur Llaripukinen's cut even more.
Llaripukinen moves away from the strike by Madsen.

Madsen unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Llaripukinen! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Madsen is unloading with more strikes now! Llaripukinen drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
