Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Sorensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sorensen comes to the cage accompanied by My baby takes the morning train. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wade Wilson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sorensen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Sorensen wants to pass the guard but Wilson is defending well.
Wilson throws a strike from the bottom but Sorensen passes into side control!

Sorensen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sorensen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sorensen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sorensen is working for a kimura here but Wilson manages to reverse the position and he's now in Sorensen's guard.

Sorensen is trying to improve his position.
Wilson swings around for an armbar but Sorensen sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wilson's guard.
Wilson has his foot on Sorensen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sorensen works his way back into a safe position though.

Sorensen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Sorensen cracks Wilson with a solid left hand.
Wilson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sorensen is bucking up trying to escape but Wilson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Wilson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sorensen's face.
Sorensen is rocked!
It looks like Jon Sorensen has been cut.

Wilson quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Wilson but it's paid off an Sorensen is forced to tap! Nice work by Wilson.
