Valdez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. so amazing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlton scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Valdez looks gassed!
Valdez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Carlton lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Valdez sprawling to the canvas. Carlton follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Valdez hang on?
It looks like Julian Valdez has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Carlton decides to return to a standing position.
Valdez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Valdez seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Carlton shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Valdez is backing up but Carlton catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Valdez covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Carlton Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronnie Carlton!
