And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Haskey!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Copeland looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Haskey scores a takedown into full mount!
Copeland is breathing heavily.

Haskey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Copeland knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Haskey shoots in looking for a takedown. Copeland tries to sprawl out of it but Haskey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Copeland manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Copeland scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Copeland decides to stand back up.
Copeland fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Haskey closes the distance and clinches up with Copeland, looking for a takedown. Haskey pushes Copeland against the cage but Copeland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Copeland moves into range and clinches up with Haskey.

Copeland stands up and waves to Haskey to follow him.

Copeland is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Haskey.
Copeland throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haskey's waist but Haskey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Copeland off to one side.
Haskey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Copeland looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Haskey shoots in but Copeland avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Copeland tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Haskey paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Copeland shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Copeland won't allow Haskey to get back to his feet.

Haskey is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Copeland frees his head nicely. Oh but Haskey has switched to an armbar! Copeland is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
