Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bret Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart has chosen The Sharpshooter as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Hebert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bret Hart! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hebert tries to clinch there but Hart circles away.
Hart doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hebert counters by clinching up. Hebert lands a knee to the body.
Hart tries for a takedown but Hebert manages to get underhooks.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hebert obliges. Hebert landing knees to the body.
Hart looks gassed! Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hebert obliges. Hebert lands an elbow inside. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hebert has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hart clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Hart is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hebert tries to get the hooks in deep but Hart pushed the leg off. Hebert looking to hold on to the position here but Hart rolls and ends up regaining guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hebert trying to control the position from guard on top but Hart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Sam Hebert just wasn't active enough. Hart with a poor takedown and Hebert counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hart's guard now. Sam Hebert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bret Hart. Hart preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hebert throwing strikes from guard but Hart blocks nicely. Hebert wants to control from the top but Hart keeps moving. Hebert controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hebert wants to control from the top but Hart keeps moving. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hebert looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sam Hebert has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hart with a lazy takedown attempt and Hebert counters with a slapping leg kick. Hart tries for a takedown but Hebert circles away easily and Hebert holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hebert prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hebert utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Hebert unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hart lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Hebert drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hart pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hebert throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hart. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hebert changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hart looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hebert has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Hebert dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hebert moves in looking to clinch but Hart pushes him off. Hebert gets the takedown into side control. Hebert stands up. Hart is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hebert changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hart looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hart is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hebert is controlling him well. Hebert stands up. Hebert is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hart looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hebert!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hebert avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hart.

It looks like Sam Hebert has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hart landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hart cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hart throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Hart throwing strikes here but Hebert is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hart putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hart working the ground and pound effectively.
Poor strikes thrown by Hart there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hart with the ground and pound from mount. Hart misses with a head shot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hart lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hart lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hebert hang on? Hart lands a heavy elbow.
Hebert is rocked!
Sam Hebert's cut is getting worse. Sam Hebert overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hart looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Hebert covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
