Wallace is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by England Belongs To Me - Cock Sparrer. George Forester has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Forester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forester closes the distance and clinches up with Wallace, looking for a takedown. Forester pushes Wallace against the cage but Wallace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Forester keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wallace.

Wallace shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wallace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Forester holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Wallace tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
A nice elbow there by Wallace.
Wallace looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Wallace working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Forester slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Wallace wants to stand up but Forester manages to regain full guard.
Wallace throwing strikes but missing.

Wallace stops Forester from standing up.
Wallace wants to stand but Forester has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Wallace decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Forester, up you get!
Wallace's corner calls for a 1-2. Wallace obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Wallace feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wallace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Forester wants to get back to his feet but Wallace is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Forester uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Wallace fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Wallace looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wallace is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Nice strikes from Wallace there.
Forester regains full guard. Nicely done.
Wallace wants to stand and escape but instead Forester has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wallace pushes Forester off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wallace looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wallace throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Forester holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Forester breaks from the clinch.

Wallace scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wallace tries to get to his feet but Forester is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Wallace in his guard.
Forester bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wallace's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Forester stands up and waves to Wallace to follow him.
Wallace misses with a wild combination.

Forester rushes Wallace and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Wallace is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Forester can't fight it off and eventually Wallace manages to take the fight to the floor. Forester looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Forester had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wallace defends it easily.

Wallace stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Forester has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Wallace manages to get his head free but now Forester has transitioned to an armbar! Wallace grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Forester! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). George Forester!
