Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Styns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ran Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tom Styns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ran Tan! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Styns circles away. Tan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Styns is looking to regain half guard here but Tan keeps moving and retains side control. Styns wants to get back to his feet but Tan drags him back down. Styns is trying to improve his position. Tan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Tan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Tan controls the position. Tan looks gassed! Styns tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Styns is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Tan throwing shots but missing, from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Styns tries to buck Tan off but Tan is having none of it. Styns gets back to half guard. Styns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tan on the ground. Styns wants to get back to his feet. Styns might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Tan is trying to work for a kimura but Styns is defending well.
Tan stalling away here and it's allowed Styns to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Tan drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tan seems to have locked his on tight now - Styns screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tan, as he picks up the win!
