These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Lemiwinks tenderised Cali's leg. Cali is trying to keep his angry face on.

You get the feeling that Lemiwinks really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Cali postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lemiwinks looks a forlorn figure.

and Lemiwinks counters with a series of strikes. Cali will be more careful next time no doubt.

Lemiwinks parries the strikes from Cali easily there. Cali is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lemiwinks to escape.

Cali is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lemiwinks's shoulder. That is not cool.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cali, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
